The Turkish Police Force is 180 Years Old.
April 4-10 Police Week and the 180th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Organization. A wreath was laid at the Atatürk bust of the District Police Department with the participation of our District Governor Yusuf Turan, our Mayor Adem Şengül and the district protocol.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, our District Governor Yusuf Turan, our Mayor Adem Şengül and the district protocol visited the District Police Chief Salif Öztürk and the Police Station Command and congratulated the police officers on Police Week.
Develi Our Mayor Adem Şengül, congratulating the Develi Police Department personnel on their week, said, “I congratulate our police officers, who perform their duties without regard to working hours for the peace and security of our district and our country, on Police Week and the 180th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Organization. I commemorate our police officers who fell as martyrs in the line of duty with mercy, and I wish success and ease to all personnel serving in the police organization.”
