The foundation stone of the Fatma-Turan Aksu Nursing Home was laid.
With the presence of our Minister of Family and Social Services, Ms. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, our Governor Mr. Gökmen Çiçek, AK Party Kayseri Members of Parliament Ms. Ayşe Böhürler, Mr. S. Bayar Özsoy, Mr. Dursun Ataş, our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, institution heads and our fellow citizens, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Fatma-Turan Aksu Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center, which will be built by our philanthropic fellow citizen Turan Aksu, was held.
The project, which will be built on an area of 22,509 square meters, will have a closed area of 2,528 square meters and a capacity of 50 people. Our Mayor Adem Şengül stated that not only maintenance but also rehabilitation works will be carried out with respect, and said, “I would like to thank our Uncle Turan and his valuable wife Fatma Hanım for bringing such a beautiful and meaningful service to Develi. On behalf of myself and my fellow citizens, I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, our Governor Gökmen Çiçek, our Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, and our Kayseri Members of Parliament for their efforts in making this project a reality.”
At the end of the program, the promise made by businessman Suat Köylüoğlu, known for his charitable works in our district, to our Minister of Family and Social Services, Ms. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, that "I will have a block built," was greatly appreciated by our Minister and the guests. Our Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş expressed her satisfaction with the promise and gave the good news that the capacity of the nursing home to be built has increased to 100 with the support of the philanthropist Mr. Suat Köylüoğlu.
