19 May Youth Concert Enthusiasm in Our District
As part of the 19 May Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day celebrations, the Youth Concert organized in cooperation with Develi District Governorship, Develi Municipality and Öksüt Mining was completed with great enthusiasm.
The stage performances of Grup Volkan, Ozan Manas and Antakya Civilizations Choir were highly appreciated. In the concert, awards were also given to students who showed academic and sporting success in our district by the district protocol.
Our Mayor Adem Şengül stated that May 19th, the date when the flame of independence was lit, is an important turning point in Turkish history and that he is very happy to come together with the youth during this special week. He added, "I would like to thank Öksüt Mining and our District Governor Mr. Yusuf Turan, who contributed to such an organization during such a special week, as well as my fellow citizens who attended our concert invitation and everyone who contributed."
