Our Mayor Adem Şengül visited the tradesmen of the industrial site before Friday prayers, congratulated them on their Friday, and inspected the ongoing preparatory work for hot asphalt paving on Sanayi Street. Mayor Adem Şengül stated that the hot asphalt paving work would be completed as soon as possible and thanked the industrial tradesmen for their patience. After Friday prayers, he distributed aşure (a traditional Turkish dessert) to the tradesmen and fellow citizens at the Sanayi Mosque and Nevruzlu Mosque, which was offered by our fellow citizen Ömer Karaoğlu in memory of his late father Hacı Yusuf Karaoğlu and his late brother Murat Karaoğlu. Mayor Adem Şengül, who chatted with tradesmen and fellow citizens in the industrial sector, stated, “On the occasion of Ashura Day, which has witnessed many important events, and the anniversary of the death of his late father and brother, I thank my brother Ömer Karaoğlu for offering Ashura to our fellow citizens; I pray for mercy upon their souls. On this occasion, I once again pray to Almighty God that the month of Muharram and Ashura Day will strengthen our unity and solidarity.”
