District Protocol Officials Visit Summer Quran Course
Our district protocol, the District National Education Directorate and the District Mufti's Office protocol, visited the Summer Quran Course conducted at Pembe Cesarettin Kocatürk Secondary School in cooperation with the Public Education Center and the Religious Affairs Youth Center, and had a conversation with the children and their teachers, and examined the education provided on site.
The courses, which provide education that will contribute to both the spiritual and social development of children of all ages, include not only the Holy Quran and religious knowledge, but also various activities such as values education, etiquette lessons, football, swimming, horseback riding, archery, picnics, cinema, theater and intelligence games.
30 Stating that the Summer Quran Courses, which will start in June and end on August 15, contribute greatly to children making good use of their summer holidays, Mayor Adem Şengül said, “Our children both learn and have fun here, while learning their religious values, they can also develop socially and mentally. I thank everyone who contributed to the education of these courses, which are highly popular among the people of our district; I wish our children success.”
