Turkish Red Crescent A “Social Market” was opened within the framework of the protocol signed between the Develi Branch of the Turkish Red Crescent and the Develi Dr. Ekrem Karakaya State Hospital, with the aim of supporting citizens in need at the hospital.

The “Social Market” project, which was opened with a ceremony attended by Chief Public Prosecutor İlteriş Altıntaş, Mayor Adem Şengül, District National Education Director Ali Arslan and hospital staff, was supported by the students of Sindelhöyük Cumhuriyet Primary School, who delivered the materials they prepared within the scope of the “Little Hands, Big Touches” project to the hospital. Speaking at the opening, our Mayor Adem Şengül stated, “This market aims to meet the clothing and other basic needs of our fellow citizens in need who come to the hospital free of charge. I thank everyone who contributed to the realization of such a meaningful project.” Chief Physician Op. Dr. Fatih Demir also expressed his great happiness at the establishment of the Social Market at the hospital, saying, “I thank the Turkish Red Crescent Develi Branch, our Municipality, the District Mufti's Office, the Develi Chamber of Craftsmen and Artisans, the benefactor Yusuf Akdağ, and the teachers and students of Sindelhöyük Cumhuriyet Primary School for their contributions.”
