In order to find a solution to the shortage of skilled workers in the industry, contractors and related sectors, the Develi District Governorship and Öksüt Mining collaborated to open an Electrical-Electronics R&D Workshop at the Vocational Training Center.

It was stated that students from our neighboring districts of Yahyalı, Yeşilhisar and Tomarza will also be accepted into the program, which aims to open a new door for young people who want to obtain a certificate as an electrician and electronics technician through boarding and daytime vocational training.

Our District Governor Yusuf Turan, our Mayor Adem Şengül, National Education Director Ali Arslan, Öksüt Mining Environment and Social Governance Director Pelin Usta Özkayhan and Foreign Relations Manager Olgun Otyakmaz, Seyrani Education Foundation President M. Suat Köylüoğlu, Municipal Council members, Vocational Training Center Director Zafer Şahin, Public Education Center Director Gazi Yorulmaz and school Directors, students, master instructors participated.

Our Mayor Adem Şengül stated that the Electrical-Electronics R&D Workshop, which will start training, will be a solution to the problem of skilled workers in our district, and added, “I thank our District Governor Yusuf Turan and the managers of Öksüt Mining for facilitating the realization of such a beautiful project, and I hope it will be beneficial for Develi.”
